Jelena Mirkov -1981.Soprano, was born in Novi Sad, Serbia. After graduation on theFaculty of Musical Art in Belgrade, department of solo singing by Prof.Gordana Jevtovic-Minov, is continuing her studies at the Institute for theAncient music in Trossingen, Germany by prof. Maria Cristina Kiehr thatsuccessfully completed in February 2009.During the years of schooling, works closely with many renowned artistsand vocal educators, including: Radmila Bakočević, Belgrade, Serbia,Olivera Miljaković -Vienna, Austria, Djordje Minov, Belgrade, Serbia,Svitlana Dekar, Odessa, Ukraine, Nicolas-Clampton, London, England, JillFeldman, Arezzo, Italia, Marijana Mijanovic, Zurich, Switzerland, MonicaMauch, Cologne, Germany, Jan van Elsacker, Antwerpen, Netherlands.In the area of the old music, the experience gained by singing conductedby Charles Toet, the Hague, Netherlands, Kees Boeke, Arezzo, Italia,Anton Steck, Cologne, Germany, Lorenz Duftschmied, Linz, Austria andmany other world names that are making and performing music onauthentic instruments and try to keep the old practice of performing inmusic.In addition to extensive concert career, cherishing the old music practiceand performing predominantly Renaissance and Baroque music, is activelyteaching and conducting several choirs diverse structure as mixed, maleand children. Since 2005 she has lives and works in Germany.
